Spamlook extends the functionalities of Microsoft Outlook providing advanced protection against spammers and unsolicited emails.
Spamlook is not designed to work with a generic mailer but it's specifically designed and optimized for Microsoft Outlook.
It is fully integrated in the Outlook workspace and operates in the background, analysing incoming messages and moving spam to a separate folder, or directly to the Deleted Item
folder, if required.

Spamlook approaches the spam issue from a completely different angle. Traditional antispam software is based on address filtering and email signatures. Spammer's signatures are like fresh fish. They’re good for a couple of days but beyond that are not very useful. This is why traditional spam protection doesn’t work any more or - at best - has a limited efficiency.
Spamlook doesn’t work just on addresses but it analyses the full set of Internet headers through an advanced NLP/Bayesian technology called SpamSensor(TM). Instead of focusing on signatures it focuses on parameters that spammers cannot fake and those that cannot be modified without weakening the impact of the message. This is why Spamlook is able to recognise spam emails never seen before.

| When a message is highlighted, you can add the sender directly to the Spammers List, or to the Trusted List, with one click. |

In this way, Spamlook learns that some messages in your inbox should be considered as spam in the future. The "green" icon instead allows you to easily set an additional level of protection for legitimate senders, because any address entered in the Trusted List will skip the spam check.
